Paul Burgeno Sr. passed away peacefully on July 21, 2023 in Colton, California.
Paul was born on February 19, 1936 in Compton, California. He was the youngest of six kids, born to
Guadalupe and Mary Burgeno. He was a long time resident of the Los Angeles and San Bernardino area.
He began his career as a truck driver in his early twenties until retirement 45 years later. Whether he was
driving long distance or local, he found enjoyment in helping others with home improvement projects and
carpentry. He enjoyed listening to jazz and oldies music, watching/attending various sporting events,
family camping trips, large outings with his brothers and their families, and spending his time barbecuing
for family and friends. During his life journey, he found happiness after meeting his final life and love
partner Yvonne until she passed away on July 17th, 2016.
He leaves as his legacy his daughter Loree Burgeno Martin; Twelve grandchildren Christy Burgeno
Riggs, Frances Stigers, Mary Luna, Nichole Burleson, Danielle Christianson, Heidi Mayes, Philip
Burgeno, Jesse Burgeno Riggs, Sabrina Burgeno, Joseph Burgeno, Alyssa Schuessler, and Jenna
Schuessler; Eight Great grandchildren Dominik Lara, Daemion Lara, Maci Breeden, James Breeden,
Heaven Bence, James Bence, Irelynn Mayes and Taryn Burleson.
Paul is also survived by his brothers Lupe Burgeno and Louie Burgeno; adored step children, nieces,
nephews, cousins, in-laws, family members and friends.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Mary; sister Esther Burgeno; brothers Hank
Burgeno and Joe Burgeno; sons Paul Peter Burgeno and Phillip Raul Burgeno; loving wife Yvonne Rita Burgeno.
