It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jeannette Lucille St. Amant, who passed away peacefully on July 7th, 2025.
Born On May 11, 1935, in St. Jean Baptiste, Canada, she was one of 14 children in a close-knit family. In 1959, she moved to California with her beloved husband, Rene, where they built a beautiful life together. Their love and partnership were the foundation of the family she cherished so deeply.
She was a devoted and nurturing mother to her three children, Monique, Maureen and Burnett, and found immeasurable joy in her role as "Memere." She leaves behind a proud legacy of nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, all of whom were the lights of her life.
While her heart was always with her family, she also found fulfillment in her career, working in banking and later in a medical office. Her kindness, patience, and strong work ethic touched everyone she met.
Memere will be remembered for her boundless love, unwavering strength and joy she brought to every room. She leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories that will continue to comfort and inspire all who knew her.
