On the evening of May 8, 2023, our forever loved, cherished and beautiful Heidi was reunited with our
mother/grandmother in heaven; now both adorned with the most beautiful angel wings where they are
forever joined in paradise.
Heidi, born July 23, 1977, was brought into this world as the tiniest of the bunch, where her big, beautiful
eyes, bouncy ringlets, and charismatic heart caught the attention of all those around her.
Heidi had the humblest and most charismatic spirit about her, especially when it came to caring for
children. All children, whether meeting her for the first time or if she knew them forever, loved her, and
she loved them. She always said, “children are God’s angels here on earth and we need to do our best to
care for them” and she always did just that!
Like her mother, her focus always remained on her family, doing her best to instill in them the
importance of a relationship with God and to be able to provide for yourself and help others. Heidi was
the most amazing mother to her two children, Raylene and Jayden. They were and will forever be the
sun, the moon, and the stars in her eyes. She lived her life to love them, care for them and to be the
absolute best mother she could be to them, providing the best life she could for them. And she did just
that. Aside from her relationship with Christ, her children were her world. She was happiest when they
were happy, and she was and will forever be supportive of their dreams and aspirations. The three of
them had a special bond that nothing can ever break. A look, a smirk, or a tilt of the head, each knew
what the other was thinking and what it meant, that is just how connected they were. To see them
together was such a beautiful blessing and a true testament to a mother’s love for her children. Their
bond and love for each other is everlasting.
In addition to being the most amazing mother she was truly the best sister, best Nina, and best friend.
Heidi was extremely unselfish where she would put a million others before herself if that meant easing
someone’s pain or lightening their burdens regardless of what challenges she herself may have been
facing. She would go above and beyond for others and never wanted any light to shine on her.
She was very shy and sweet and soft spoken by nature, yet a strong and independent woman. The
minute one would ruffle her feathers she had no problem putting people in their place, while doing so
with the utmost tact and grace. People could not help but love her for this as well. Most times, Heidi was
very quiet, yet she never missed a beat. She had an amazing quick wit about her that would keep people
laughing for days. She was the most loyal of confidants a friend or loved one can ever ask for. If told
something in confidence there was no doubt that it would not be shared, things stayed with her without
judgment. She was truly the ultimate best sister and best friend.
While we are heartbroken that we will not be able to hug Heidi, see her expressionate big, beautiful
eyes, or make more happy memories together we will do our best to honor her by living our best lives,
centered on God, striving everyday to make her proud.
Heidi, you are beautiful inside and out, truly the wind beneath our wings…unforgettable, forever loved
and cherished more than anyone can ever imagine. We thank you and our Lord for blessing our lives with
the gift of your presence! We love you and miss you beyond what can ever be expressed in words.
