Antonio Ibanez, known affectionately as "Tony," passed away on March 5,
2023, at the age of 42. He was born on February 6, 1981, raised in La
Puente, California most of his life. Tony was a Born Again Christian who
found solace and direction in his faith, which he embraced wholeheartedly.
Tony was a dedicated worker for CalTrans and was well-respected by his
colleagues for his tireless work ethic and attention to detail. He took great
pride in his work and was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that
the roads were safe and well-maintained.
Tony's faith played a pivotal role in his life, and he found peace and purpose
through his relationship with Christ. He was an inspiration to many in his
community who saw firsthand the transformation that occurred in his life.
Tony was a testament to the transformative power of faith and the
importance of second chances.
Tony was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his mother,
Maria Ibanez, his father, Rosendo Rojo, and his brothers, Abraham and
Rosendo. Tony had a special bond with his family, and they were a source
of strength and support throughout his life.
In his free time, Tony was an enthusiastic sports fan and loved nothing
more than watching the Lakers play. He was also a devoted dog lover and
cherished his pets, who brought him much joy and comfort.
Tony loved visiting his father in Tijuana and enjoyed immersing himself in
the local culture. He was proud of his Mexican heritage and never forgot
where his parents came from Valle de Banderas, Nayarit.
Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for
his unwavering faith, his dedication to his work, and his love for his family

Antonio Ibáñez, conocido cariñosamente como "Tony", falleció el 5 de marzo de 2023 a
la edad de 42 años. Nació el 6 de febrero de 1981 en Los Ángeles, California. Tony era
un cristiano renacido que encontró consuelo y dirección en su fe, la cual abrazó
plenamente.
Tony era un trabajador dedicado de Cal Trans y era muy respetado por sus colegas
debido a su incansable ética laboral y su atención al detalle. Se sentía muy orgulloso de
su trabajo y siempre estaba dispuesto a hacer lo necesario para garantizar que las
carreteras estuvieran seguras y bien mantenidas.
La fe de Tony jugó un papel fundamental en su vida y encontró paz y propósito a través
de su relación con Cristo. Fue una inspiración para muchos en su comunidad que vieron
de primera mano la transformación que ocurrió en su vida. Tony fue un testimonio del

vida.
En su tiempo libre, Tony era un entusiasta fanático de los deportes y no había nada que
le gustara más que ver jugar a los Lakers. También era un amante dedicado de los

confort.
A Tony le encantaba visitar a su padre en Tijuana y disfrutaba sumergirse en la cultura
local. Se sentía orgulloso de su herencia mexicana y nunca olvidaba de dónde venía.
Tony será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron. Será recordado
por su fe inquebrantable, su dedicación a su trabajo y su amor por su familia y amigos.
