Leticia Ramirez Olguin

 Maria Leticia Ramirez Olguín was born May 25th, 1958 in Indaparapeo , Michoacan Mexico. She was one of 10 children born to Guadalupe and Juventino. She was the first woman from her family to move to the US in January of 81’ with high hopes and dreams to succeed and be able to help her parents with a better life. Just a couple years later she achieved one of her goals to help her parents with the purchase of a home in Mexico City, Mexico. In the year of 86’ she became a legal US resident and in 2002 she acquired her US citizenship. In December of 88’ she purchased her first home in California with her best friend since early childhood. And though she never married nor had any blood born children of her own; anyone who knew her, saw the unbreakable bond she held between her and her goddaughter. She was the daughter she never had & gave her a greater purpose since the day she was born & we’re together until the day she took her very last breath in the morning of February 18, 2019. Leticia was a little woman with a huge sense of humor! Even through her toughest days she always managed to make a joke to see an optimistic solution any problem. She was the most selfless, carrying person. Who always thought of others before herself and helped everyone however she could. She thrived without giving up no matter how hard life would get.. her motto in life was to see failure as a learning experience to do better the next time, and most importantly to never give up! She would always say “Everything happens for a reason.. & God doesn’t give you more than you can bear..” She will always hold her title as “mama Letty” with her 3 grandchildren who loved her very much & will be missed dearly by her many family and friends but her love will remain in our hearts forever..

María Leticia Ramírez Olguín nació el 25 de Mayo del 1958 en Indaparapeo, Michoacán, México. Ella fue una de los 10 hijos nacidos de Guadalupe y Juventino Ramírez. Fue la primera mujer de su familia que se mudó a los EE. UU. En enero del 81 ’con grandes esperanzas y sueños de tener éxito y poder ayudar a sus padres con una vida mejor. Solo un par de años después, logró uno de sus objetivos de ayudar a sus padres con la compra de una casa en la Ciudad del D.F, México. En el año 86 ', se convirtió en residente legal de los EE. UU. Y en el año del 2002 adquirió su ciudadanía estadounidense. En diciembre del 88, compró su primera casa en California con su mejor amiga desde la infancia. Y aunque ella nunca se casó ni tuvo hijos propios de sangre; cualquiera que la conociera, vio el vínculo inquebrantable que mantenía entre ella y su ahijada. Ella fue la hija que nunca tuvo y le dio un propósito mayor desde el día en que la vio nacer y estuvieron juntas hasta el día en que tomó su ultimo respiró.. la mañana del 18 de febrero del 2019. Leticia era una mujer pequeña con un gran sentido del humor! Incluso durante los días más difíciles, siempre se las ingeniaba para hacer una broma y ver una solución optimista ante cualquier problema. Ella era la persona más desinteresada, y portadora. Quien siempre pensó en los demás antes de sí misma y ayudó a todos como pudo. Ella prosperó sin darse por vencida, sin importar lo difícil que fuera la vida ... su lema en la vida era ver el fracaso como una experiencia de aprendizaje para mejorar la próxima vez, y lo más importante, ¡nunca rendirse! Ella siempre diría "Todo sucede por una razón ... y Dios no te da más de lo que puedes soportar ..." Ella siempre mantendrá su título de "mamá Letty" con sus 3 nietos que la amaron mucho y será extrañada mucho por sus familiares y amigos, pero su amor permanecerá en nuestros corazones para siempre ...
