Claudio Flores Badel

January 20, 1950 ~ January 26, 2019 (age 69)

Claudio was born in Paete Laguna, Philippines to Roberto and Josefina Badel. He is one of nine siblings and is the third oldest. He has joined his older brother, Al and his Father in the kingdom of heaven. He is survived by his lifelong companion Jocelyn Badel, and his 3 daughters Caroline, Colleen and Catherine. Along with son-in-law, Alex Gorkovenko and his favorite, one and only granddaughter Evee Gorkovenko. He will be missed and remembered by his siblings; Flor Acueza, Lottie Rellosa, Frank Badel, Tor Badel, Lepot Oviso, Josie Lopez, and Jun Badel. His laughter, jokes and kindness will always remain in our hearts. He also left behind many relatives, nieces, nephews and cousins who he has seen grown up along with his children. Last, but not least his many friends whom he has shared many great memories, even as far back from childhood. Claudio Badel's life was full of adventure and beauty. He travelled all over the world including Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, Colombia, Cambodia, and many others. He loved art, antiques, sports and most all fishing. He was an artist in his own right, working on many carved artwork and drawings. He and his family migrated here to America in 1980 in hopes to create better lives for themselves. Through this endeavor he was able to pursue his career as a Chief Dialysis Technician. He truly lived, laughed and loved. His memory and legacy will live on forever. We love you Dad, Caroline Badel.
